What: Advancement Weekend!

When: 18 – 19 January 2025

Where: At the Manta!  Burton Chace Park, Marina del Rey, CA 90292 

Why: To get your rank done for the Bridge of Honor!

What’s going on?   We’ll meet at the Manta at 9:00am on Saturday, 18 January 2025 and work on advancement and training skills. Bridge of Honor is coming up, so you’ll want to have your next rank done in time. Whether you’re working on Apprentice, Ordinary, Able or Quartermaster you’ll want to come to this event and complete as many requirements as possible. So come on down and get those ranks done! We’ll also be doing some boat clean-up as well, which will satisfy the “working of Ship’s equipment” requirement.  Go home time is noon on Sunday.

Bring:

☐Change of undies

☐Jammies

☐Sleeping bag

☐Toiletries

☐Wear your Islander informal uniform

Cost: Just the cost of meals, which will be planned by the crew.
