Our 2025 fundraiser started 01 December 2024. This year, our goal of $58,000 will fund programs for the two Sea Scout “Ships” sponsored by the Islander Foundation: The Islander, Ship 16 for young men and The Black Pearl, Ship 25 for young women. Program expenses include boat maintenance, insurance and dock space for our 2 large vessels and multiple small boats.
100% of every donation goes to the Sea Scouts program. What sets us apart from other non-profits is our commitment to direct impact. There are no administrative fees deducted from your donation. The Islander Foundation also welcomes donations of cars, boats and RV’s.
The Islander Ship 16 Sea Scout Foundation (d.b.a. Ship 87 Inc Federal Tax ID# 95-3887037) is an exempt, nonprofit organization as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Your donation may be tax deductible. Please check with your tax advisor.
